About Mort Kunstler

Mort Kunstler is one of the most popular, and sought after Civil War and Revolutionary War Artists. His signed and numbered limited edition prints and Giclee canvases have become some of the most collected works of Fine Art in America. Also known for commercial illustration, he has been one of the foremost artists of the Civil War era since the 1980s. During his lifetime Mort’s work has been featured in many books and magazines.

A master of oil and canvas painting, Mort’s work has even been featured by the Postal Commemorative Society (PCS) as a Civil War commemorative set entitled “the "Philatelic History of the Civil War featuring artwork by MKünstler" and his work is on display at The Pritzker Military Museum & Library.

I have been an authorized Mort Kunstler dealer for almost 40 years, and have one of the largest inventories of both his primary market prints and canvases, as well as a large selection of his Secondary market ‘SOLD OUT’ limited editions.
